You and your teammate will experience the gravel roads of South Africa in true Banger Rally style. Your entry (and your teammate’s entry) will ensure accommodation, meals etc. Your team will raise an additional £1500. We will buy the car and take care of the registration, MOT and insurance. After the rally your car will be sold and the money will go for charity.

We will be leaving the hustle and bustle of Cape Town and head to the Ceres area. Here you will have a mixture of tar and gravel roads, so that you can get to know your vehicle.
Rise and shine early to head off for a light breakfast and a game drive in a Big 5 game reserve. From there we will head to Sutherland and have a evening of stargazing.
Traveling through the Karoo we will see spectacular scenery and experience the true back roads of South africa.
Traveling from Prins Albert we cross over the Swartberg Pass and Oudsthoorn area. We will stop over at the Cango Caves. This area is known for Ostridge farming.
Experience the magic of the Knysna Forest. It is called the jewel of the Garden Route. We will be taking the “off the beaten track” route into the forest and show you the hidden gems.
To ensure that you are not overloaded with too many sites and adventures, we plan a easy going day driving along the coastal roads to Still Bay.
Today we will reach the most southern point of Africa by crossing over the Malgas Ferry. This small camp is located 10,3km from the Cape Agulhas Lighthouse in a nature reserve.
We head off to the winelands of the Western Cape. A short trip will ensure that you can enjoy wine tasting in the area. Franschhoek is known as the Valley of Dreams.
Back to Cape Town where you can spend the day exploring Cape Town at your own leisure. The evening we will have a prizegiving after supper and leave you to enjoy your last evening.
Fly back home.
